The Prayers from Maria Sunflower Field is beautiful photo backdrop opportunity for most, but for me it is so much more. 🌻
I started capturing mini sessions at the #prayersfrommaria Sunflower Field in Avon to honor the memory of our sweet little cousin Tyler. We locate his sign and always remember and celebrate his life. It’s always an honor to give back and help raise funds and awareness for the Prayers from Maria Children’s Glioma Cancer Foundation.
This year, I hoped in my car and drove over an hour to Sandusky, with my three boys, my mother, one of my sisters and my nephew. The field did not disappoint. Not only were the flowers in full bloom, but they were so beautiful and vibrant.
When we arrived, we walked around first to find cousin Tyler’s photo. The boys posed with his sign.
As we continued to walk around, all the kids started reading the names of the kids signs and figuring out the ages. Though it breaks your heart walking around seeing all the photos, it also reminds you to count your blessings and love on your children.
This will certainly not be our last visit to the Cedar Point Field, they have done a great job! This will continue to be a family tradition.
