Dressed in their pirate best, dozens came to celebrate the first year of life of little Josiah. The 'Jake and the Neverland Pirates' themed 1st birthday party was quite the event!
From the treasure map inspired invitations to the pirate party decor, this this quite celebration. Lotts of Designs had the privilege of designing the invitations and decorations to this event of the year. The invites were fun to make as they were printed on regular sheets of copy paper, torn at the edges and later dipped in coffee to give the "treasure map" look. For the kids, there were handmade pixie bags, swords and burlap treat bags.
This event was the a celebration of a miracle. A year ago, Josiah was born a premie at 2.2lbs with quite a few complications, but today, September 21st, 2014 he is almost at 20 lbs. Here are some of the photos of the special party!
